homemade coleslaw will be fine to freeze for up to 2 months, after that freezer burn kicks in and ruins it

I don't think leaf veggies freeze very well because of the high water content. When you thaw it the slaw will have turned watery.

I do but it is the vinegar based cole slaw. I have never done the creamy slaw.
