Any dry cereal in a ziplock baggie.....cheerios, fruit loops, etc.
Baby carrots, fruit rolls.
Steer clear of crumbly crackers and cookies.....they will wind up EVERYwhere.....in the car, on the kids' clothes, and will turn to a thick paste on fingers when wet.
Keep it primary and non-sticky.
Drinkable yogurt, Go-gurt frozen for a cool treat, pretzel sticks...

If you arn't going to be gone long or you think he/she will eat them right away, try apple slices, carrot sticks, and such. If it is just in case and you don't know for sure when the food will be eaten, try granola bars, fruit bites, (made of real fruit) they also have dried apple slices that come in little packs, you can find them around the snack isle with the froot roll ups and such. I like teddy Grahams (spelling?) and goldfish is always a favorite.

Plain animal crackers (Not the frosted ones) Costco has the huge jar for $4.99 or $5.99. My son's dentist told me to stay away from graham crackers because the particles get impacted between and inside their teeth and brushing doesn't always get them out. Dried fruits, dry cereal, granola bars (Quaker has 25% less sugar ones that are good)

I usually slap some peanut butter onto a slice of bread for my 2 & 3 yo.
I also keep some crackers and graham cookies in my glove box for emergencies.
Raisins are good too.

I have a 3-year old... she enjoys fruit snacks, granola bars, Chex mix, pretzels, cheese sticks, etc. All are pretty healthy and not too messy.

Stick to fresh fruit, vegetables and graham or cheese crackers. And bottle water. I use the small size. They really like having their own size.
Dried fruit and gummies cause lots of problems with their teeth.

I make trail mix for Abby, my 3 year old. You can specialize it to your child., Include their fav cereals, dried fruits, nuts, m&ms or raisins, anything!
also, cereal bars are pretty sweet on the go snacks. She thinks she is getting cookies, I know she is eating honey nut cheerios.
