my sister is trying to set my up with a friend of hers...she thinks we'll make a good couple. The friend is gorgeous as well.

What should I do? I mean wouldn't it be weird?

has anyone here gone out with a sis's friend?
I don't know what to do coz there's no guarantee that the relationship will last!

Provided you don't mind your sister knowing every sordid detail of your love life, then go for it!

And if it goes all wrong, your sister's friendship may be beyond repair forever too.

A bit risky if you ask me, however it turns out!!!

It's not that big a deal.

Depending on this friend's relationship with your sister, it could actually bring you closer to your family. Women tell each other almost everything, so if you tell your sister's friend something that you don't want your sister to know, make sure that's clear first. (And even then, it's no guarantee... a lot of that depends on the person's integrity).

Have fun. The worst thing that could happen is that you lose a couple of hours on a date.

Who cares if it last get the experience if he likes you and you like him why not. And yes I have dated my sis's friends and a couple of her ex boyfriends (after she moved away of course) not that she cared as the saying goes been there done that you can keep the tshirt. If you are uncomfortable then agree only on a double with your sis until you either get over the discomfort or you decide you can't and be honest with yourself and your sister on how you feel she loves you and only wants the best for you so her judgment should be good. Relax and enjoy life you are only young once.

There is no guarantee that any relationship will last...you just have to go for it and see what happens...and it might feel weird at first but over time it will be ok...

Well does the friend like you, do you like her back? It's not weird to date your sister's friend after all she's human as well, plus you have a good advantage to see her everyday since your sister is friends with her.

There is no guarantee any relationship will last. Take the chance. What difference does it make how you get together, just get together.

there is no guarentee in anything that's life. but there is another part as well. taking chances. if you like her then you should date her. but dont date her just be cause she is pretty. get to know her. whatever happens, happens.
