There is no such thing as an Xtian. If you are inquiring about Christians who have read their Bible, I have, and continue to do so.

i have read it. but i dont limit myself to just one book of truth.

Jesus said Seek out the best books. and i have found that there are many that are justifiable and equally inspired by God.
what i read in the bible when i was 15, and what i was taught by ministers has been proved to be misguided. Just reading the bible does not mean people KNOW the truth. Truth is expanded so much greater

i came to a conclusion that the bible is a pre kindergarten book as compared to what the truth in Heaven is all about.

Not many, if I were to put a %age on it, it would definitely be low. You know the ones who haven't read it when they start saying "The bible says" and then say something they heard their pastor say once that's not actually in the Bible. "God helps those who help themselves" - yeah, I think that was Benjamin Franklin in Poor Richard's Almanac, not the Bible. Just ask any Christian who makes any Biblical claim to cite the exact location of that passage in the Bible. If they can't do it right away, allow them time to look it up. Anybody that can't tell you where a specific concept comes from in the Bible probably hasn't read it...

Because what they DO know, proves to BE true. I've read it 10 times, and studied through it in-depth two full times over a span of 30 years. I can prove it to be true when people are honest with their questions and desire to know.

I read my bible every day, but haven't always done so despite me being a christian. That's prob. the most common error one commits when claiming to be saved. Reading the bible is like food. It keeps us growing in faith. We need to do that daily so as not to starve. Satan is waiting hungrily and does everything in his might to keep us away from God. In the mornings, when it's still dark out he tells us to sleep a little longer so we can't find the time to read. It goes like that all day. Yet, when our stomach growles, we tend to it, by eating.

I do not think that there are many Christians who have never read the Bible. I study it a lot. I find it very interesting and God talks to me through His Word. : )

One cannot be a Christian (follower of Christ) without knowing what Christ wants of us -- it's like claiming to be an American citizen and not knowing anything about the pledge of allegiance or the constitution...

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life...

I've read it...then I read it again...then I read books about it that go into more depth and explain the contents of the bible. Then I read it again and I still read it.

I've never really needed the bible. I have received the spirit! Plus I completely trust my pastor. A good man of the word will not ever let you down.
