I am 18 years old and want to start weight watchers. I am 5'4 and weigh 136 pounds. How many points a day should i be eating?
Anyway i can get one of those books with all of the points of everything??

Has anyone done it that can give me some tips?

I would like to loose 15-20 pounds

I'm not sure you need to lose that much, but we'll go with it. Actually weight watchers safeguards against losing too much weight for someone who was too thin anyway, by setting a minimum point total as well as max per day. So it's a healthy lifestyle change anyway. They really promote a well balanced diet. For anyone 150 pounds or less, the point range per day (in my material, which is from 2000) is 18-25 points. That range combined with exercise will get you to your healthy weight and help you maintain it. If you don't want to go to meetings and pay for all that stuff, look on ebay and there are plenty of people selling their materials. Sometimes they are even brand new. The books will explain all you need to know and there are great resources on the web too from people's individual websites. Just google Weight Watchers Recipes and you'll come up wtih some great hits.
