I'm just curious to see how many would be upset if their significant other was browsing around on yahoo personals. If so, would you consider this as cheating?

I would be very upset. I wouldn't consider it "cheating" unless he actually met someone and slept with them (or talked online about sleeping with them). What I would consider it is a precursor to cheating. He's looking, therefore he's no longer happy with what he has at home. I'd definitely leave my fiance if I found out he was browsing through personals or had an ad himself.

browsing personals or even viewing porn is nothing more than a sign that he doesn't feel you're giving him what he needs. If he truly loves you and ISN'T trying to find a new girlfriend, then he'll STOP. If not, dump his a$$!

I don't even really care about porn, but personal ads is something totally different. I would definitely be upset about him browsing personals.

If it's just about casually checking out the opposite sex, then you should join in the fun and look WITH them. Point out who looks good, ask them what they like (then you get more insight into what they like and want). You could turn it into a bonding time.
But... if they are hiding it from you, there could be a problem.

Personally as long as he or she wasn't responding to any of the adds, then I would equate it to browsing a porn site. If the person is responding to the adds, then that is another story altogether.
