No we cannot rob and kill and rape and follow Jesus. It is not easy to follow Jesus because that requires a change. Jesus died for our sins, and we get saved only by mercy and grace. But we need to prove by our deeds that we follow Jesus. We need to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior . We would not make it to heaven of our own. : )

Not true at all. Christianity is a hard religion to follow if done properly because you can not do those, you have to discern and do everything in love according to Jesus' message.
You cannot rob, kill, rape, etc. etc lovely mischaracterization shows alot of bigotry and misunderstanding. Though with alot of the people claiming to be Christians out there I can see why.

I think the story goes that Jesus died for "original sin", that is sin that happened way before we were born. Now the original sin is cleaned, we are still responsible for any sins we commit.
As for it being the easiest religion to follow, I don't think so. I can think of little that would be more difficult for me to do than to submit to that indoctrination.

relies upon - fundamentalist or liberal? Catholic? Evangelical? Baptist? Anabaptist? Lutherin? Reformed? Church of Christ? Adventist? There are quite actually 1000's of 'Christian Flavors'. All are distinctive. the countless extra liberal ones basically say 'definitely everyone gets to pass to heaven using fact Jesus died.' some do no longer even have self assurance in hell. i like those adult males using fact they pass away me on my own. Others experience which you definitely ought to settle for Jesus as your guy or woman savior, do stable works, pray frequently, attend church, make an apology for all your sins, and so on. there's a huge variety in between. Adventists are between the extra conservative communities i've got considered...they do no longer eat meat, do no longer drink alcohol, and so on. equivalent to Judaism in that regard. the least perplexing faith is Buddhism, IMO. No doctrines, no standards in some sects, no person thousand web page instruction manual, no inflexible ethical code, and so on. basically you only be super, and there is not any threats or supplies you of advantages. some varieties of Buddhism are a splash extra complicated than others, yet none come on the edge of Christianity. human beings do no longer convert from any faith to the different faith very frequently frequently. in general they stick to what they have been indoctrinated into. maximum are taught that their faith is right and others are not, so leaving is, interior the way that they've been raised, shifting to the incorrect faith no count number the place you pass. additionally, faith has on no account been approximately choosing the 'handy' faith. so which you will respond to your question: No I dont' think of Christianity is the least perplexing - there is one thousand pages of Bible to maintain song of, yet some varieties of the religion are fairly darn person-friendly, so while you're searching for a faith that would not ask plenty from you, look at liberal Christianity.

Serving God is an easy walk but we can't do whatever we want and serve God!
Mat 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
1Pe 2:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
Mat 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
Rom 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

That's the stupidest thing I have ever heard. He died for our sins but we need to prove it to Him that we are worthy of His sacrifice. Don't be a smart @$$.

Jesus never died for my sins, he was dead for two thousand years before I was born. You must be thinking of someone else.
