my ex and i broke up about 3.5 years ago, and we dated for 4 years. we both were eachothers first, and loved eachother very much. we broke up because we were too young and going to college. we both now have graduated college and have well paying jobs. my friend sees her often and she always tells him how much she misses me and will always love me. tonight i am going to a party were she will be. should i ask her out to dinner? or play it slow and see what happens?

Sure go right ahead, ask her that you guys should hang out to catch up on things and then if everything goes good then that same day ask her out for dinner. And you may want to talk to her about seeing if you guys can finish what you started, because if you guys dated that long and pulled it off great and only break up for the college reason then she may still like you, I doubt that she doesn't. Good Luck.

Follow your heart. See how things go at the party, you may find you don't have much in common anymore....that really does happen a lot. If that's the case & you've already invited her for dinner, it might be a pretty miserable time.

why not see how interacting at this party goes, first? it could be that seeing each other again makes sparks fly, or maybe you'll just not have the same reaction. lots can change in more than 3 years, and not all those changes will necessarily bring you closer together.

Ask her for a date, first like a cup of coffee or some thing
& see the response.Always strike the iron when it is hot so
that you are not disappointed later.

relies upon on why you have broken up. you are able to consistently attempt! I consistently say to myself that i might fairly stay with regrets than what if's. confident, choose for it. If she says no, in basic terms permit it is and circulate on.

Wait and see what happens. You may find that you aren't compatible anymore.

I think you should see how it goes, and what kind of vibe she's kickin' and decide from there. Good luck!
