its depends on a number of factors

1 has the other party admitted liability?

if the answer is no then Any compensation would be held up until blame for the accident is attributed to yourself or other party

if the answer is yes

then after all independent medical reports have been seen then the process of compensation will considered

average wait after all facts are collated is about 3 months
with the first offer

I was in a RTA August 2005 and put a claim in with Quantum Claims against the other driver. I was getting on a bus when a van ran into the back of us, he claimed he never saw the bus, but how can u miss a 54 seater bus, anyway its just going to court now as the van driver said it wasnt his fault!!

Just go out in your car, wait until some poor sod is a bit to close to the back of you and jump on the breaks, he will hit you up the @ss and you can pretend that you have hurt your neck and you can claim on the poor sods insurance, if not just walk down the street and look for a slab in the pavement that is not quite level with the rest and pretend to trip over it, claim away, everyone else is, that's why your kids can't go on school adventure weekends any more......... parasites.

Your insurance company should be the first port of call. If they don't help, go to a reputable firm of local solicitors.

Treat your pain on the NHS - why do you need compensation? I can't bear this compensation culture crap. Then again go for an ambulance chaser who will nick your money.
