guess what? it's a burst blood vessel. any number of things can cause this, as long as there is no pain, there is nothing to worry about, it will reabsorb over time.

It might well be a burst blood vessel, keep and EYE on it and if it bothers you get it checked out. Don't want to worry you but I woke blind in one eye once and that was a burst blood vessel; I went to the hospital in a BLIND panic but it sorted itself out after a day or two. If you lose a lot of sleep, that can happen. It happens to me, and just a couple of weeks ago one of my friends had that kind of redness. It will go away after you catch up on your sleep if that is the cause. There could be other causes too, but I think the sleep is most likely the cause. Good luck!

did you sneeze really hard or something,
well how ever it wil go, but give it time.
it hapened to my fiend once when she was vomiting, so like when you put force on your eyes
