Because it is soft and rubbery ..You might want to get your puppy a soft rubber toy..even though she will still go over and chew on the electric cords.. I do believe this is in a puppy gen..They all seem to chew on electric cords lol

Puppies chew. This we know. What I've done to help prevent this with my 11 week old Dachshund is have TONS of toys out ALL the time. My floor literally at this time has 1..2..3...wow! We have 9 toys out on the floor right now to divert her attention. She rarely touches the cords in my house. You could try rubbing some bitter spray on the cords... make sure you only apply it to cords that AREN'T chewed as to avoid electrical shock. It didn't work so well for us as it seemed she actually enjoyed the spray and licked it off! Good luck.

Your puppy sounds like he's teething. Just like babies, chewing on something helps to relieve the pain. You may want to go to a pet store and ask about teething toys as well as anti-chew items that have a taste dogs don't like. These will discourage the puppy from chewing what you don't want chewed.

Puppies chew on anything and everything. Have you provided him with chew toys? Also, try training him not to chew on things that are in appropriate, such as electric chords. You wouldn't want him to be shocked! As long as your puppy isnt trying to eat everything in site, then it is just a phase most puppies go through. Work with your puppy to teach him the things that are alright to chew.

She chews on them because puppies chew on everything. It's up to you to stop her and to get the cords aways from her reach. Just like with a small child you have to puppy proof your house.

every dog does that well those who like to chew on sum thing What you should is put hot sauce on every cord in your house and also put jalapeno in his or her mouth to let it know that will happen if another cord is chewed on or if its teething then grab one of those baby toys that you could freeze then once its frozen get it to the puppy so it could ease the pain

my dog does to get them some hard chew toys and they will stop and your dog does that because your dog is still teething and it wants to play and wants something to chew on so just get your dog a toy or a bone that will last for a long time!!

Your dog will die a terrible death from chewing on cords. This happened to a friend of mine and it's no joke. You must confine your dog if you cannot watch him all the time. Please be a responsible pet guardian and be careful.
