ok my daughter is having child abuse awarness month at her school and so the got ribbons sent home and we are suppose to write positve comments ion them assuring children that they are loved and safe. i have a couple comments already but i want to add a couple more.. what would you say are some good comments????????? thanks

I would simply suggest that you be honest to your child.
If I'm in your position, I'd probably write something along the lines: "I'm not a perfect person nor can I promise to be the perfect mother. But if there's one thing I can promise you, is that I will always love you." or "There are times I might get angry at you, raise my voice at you, but that doesn't mean I hate you. I just want you to know what is right from what is wrong. It may not be the best way to discipline you at times, but I am doing my best to make sure that you will grow up to be the best person you can be."

if you are talking about that you are suppose to write to your own kids? then I say write from your heart! if they are to be given to abused children, let them know that people do love them and they did nothing wrong,
