Because he probably feels inadequate and wants the added attention that you might give him. Try telling him how much you care about him and compliment him on certain things he does that you like. It will let him know he is appreciated and might stop him from doing it.

A guy might try to make you jealous because he wants to test your commitment and loyalty to the relationship. He may want you to demonstrate your position on infidelity and how far he can push the envelope and where you draw the line on appropriate behavior. He wants you to prove that you trust him no matter what he does, and how strong your feelings are for him.

Lots of reasons, but none of them are good. Jealousy breeds distrust, which isn't healthy for a any stable relationship.

Maybe to make you feel belittled...or so you know how it feels to be jealous because he is jealous of you himself. In this case I would talk to te guy because their could be different reasons...and I would also ignore all the factors because teir is no point on being jelous if he is trying to make you jealous. God Bless.

Because it's an ego boost. It's nice to have someone giving you that attention sometimes. They will also sometimes do it just to see how much you actually care about them.
