It worked for me...somewhat...you can't be too hard to get then they will think that your not even interested. You should really tell them how you feel even you look like an idiot. It always works. You may not get the answer you want, however, at least the person knows how you feel and you don't have to hide it anymore...good luck!

Trust me I know how you feel with the "just friends" thing. I recently had a guy say he wanted to be just friends even though he was showing all the signs he liked me. It really hurt but I just cant let go of him. I have been playing hard to get by talking to another guy and pretending not to notice him. I think he took notice and now he is saying hi to me and trying to talk to me again. Hard to get works if you try not to take it too far. I hope it works out for you good luck! =]

Some people like others to play hard to get. Personally I think that it is just a mind game. Not talking to her is ignoring her..she might be the type to see you as not interested in her and she might move along. I say be true with your feelings, but not come on strong. Good luck!!

I would advise against pursuing her any further. Once a person makes it clear they just want to be friends, there is almost nothing that can be done to change that.
Incidentally, "playing hard to get" is not about simply being distant. It's more about showing independence and confidence, and above all a lack of "need"; the idea being that such a persona is a more attractive one.

Playing hard to get can be very effective but it depends on the person. Just let her know that ur ok with being just friends with her. Don't give her too much attention and try to make her see what she's missing.

Playing hard to get isn't really "fighting" for her love. It's kind of like laying back and trying to get her to come to you. If a guy started playing hard to get with me, I would jump ship because I don't like it when guys play games. In my experience, if a girl plays hard to get, guys are intrigued; if a guy plays hard to get, girls get annoyed. Personally I think it's a bad thing in this situation. You may end up pushing her away.

LISTEN! You only stress yourself out when you play hard to get, so really become hard to get. Occupy yourself and your time with other things, become unavailable. Take yourself to the movies, go to the park, do whatever you do that takes up your time. Sometimes you just need to really move on if that person isn't interested any more.

I think that playing games will only make you look silly in her eyes. Most women do not like nonsense. If she has told you that she only wants to be friends and you really like her, then be her friend! Try meeting new women and move on she'll respect you for that.

Not talking to her, not looking at her, not walking near her, not calling her, not anything her basically. After a while, you'll get tired of it though if nothing happens.

if she isn't interested in a relationship, playing hard to get isn't going to help.
real life never successfully includes "playing" or "acting"
be yourself.
