DARK, BITTERSWEET CHOCOLATE does indeed have alot of antioxidants in it, and those help to prevent oxidation of fats into cholesterol. HOWEVER, it also bears alot of fats as well, so don't think it is a cure all. If you like the dark bittersweet chocolate, then eat it in small amounts for the benefit of the antioxidants and avoid the problem of the calories and fats.
