Tanning booths ABSOLUTELY are NOT safer than sun. They BOTH cause skin cancer. People die from skin cancer. My father did. Do a little research on melanoma...it's NOT curable. Tanning ages you....so, you look tan now while you are young, but you look wrinkly and speckly when you get older........and you look old sooner....does cancer and radiation and chemotherapy seem like a good price to pay for a nice tan? Get the spray tan. Trust me.

No there is no safe way to use a tanning booth or to tan in the sun. All exposure increases your risk of skin cancer and wrinkles etc. Since you feel you must tan then you need to be sure to use a very good sunscreen to help protect your skin. Why not consider a spray on tan at a salon instead?

tanning lotions with sunscreens should be good and don't use the tanning booth so often...I know its hard, when I used to tan I'd go every day or every other day. Space out the time you go so you do less damage to your skin. Also probably not going the full time each time you go is a good idea too...just start out slow and gradually work your way up to the full time.

every time you move a tanning mattress (no count number how short) you're in risk for procuring maximum cancers. the reason behind this: even as uva mild hits your dermis it should be unfavorable. once you tan outdoors the publicity is sluggish and your body can withstand damage by way of sluggish cost of damage. once you're in a tanning mattress the publicity takes position unexpectedly in a small era of time and your body won't be able to shop up with the wear. i'd end going tanning!!!! it ought to age your dermis and grant you with solar spots or maximum cancers.
