Oh really?
Thats what you should have said to him, then you ask "why would I want you back"? Let him tell you...let him earn... your friendship and trust. Then tell him "why I really like this guy Im with now, he doesnt (_________then fill in the blank with the crap the ex did that cause the break up...lol) like you did, and I just dont want to be hurt or deal with the nonsense anymore...so what should I do?
Let him decide...its almost like negotiating. Then if he's ok and want to continue with it, then calmly say... "ok.. we'll start off slow and see how it goes, when are you free to talk about this some more... I have to go"
Arrange for a casual date, and begin again. BUT dont drop the BF... no no no...just slow it down alittle...putting them both on the same footing, when either acts up, cut him loose and keep it moving.
Ration your time between the both of them... giving the better one more of your time as he earns it. The second they get funky, tell them... "hey Im trying to give you a chance, its your action thats making things unpleasant and difficult"
LOL..simple. I do it all the time

sometimes you remember things with your ex's as better than what they were. think about why you really broke up and if it was for a good reason then there is no doubt you should not go back there - it may get nasty and you could get hurt again.
Also the fact that you are even thinking about it is not a good sign for your current bf, I reckon you should try and spice things up with him - try new things together etc if that doesnt work ditch them both !

That's going to be a decision you have to make on your own.
If you do want advice, you should provide us more with details..
How long have you and your current boyfriend been dating, how long did you and your ex boyfriend date, have you already said I love you to your current boyfriend (and meant it), why did you and your ex break up to begin with..
Those types of things.

Do you ever wonder why he's your ex? If you dumped him, then you have already made your mind up. If he dumped you then he missed his chance and you definitely shouldn't put yourself in that situation ever again. He doesn't deserve you. Concentrate on your present... not on could-have-been's. Good luck!

He must be your ex for a reason. I would stay with my BF now as long as he makes you happy.
