In this day and age he probably couldn't get far without some kind of profession. Where do you think Jesus would work between sermons?

Carpentry, unless he has forgotten after all these years.

There's plenty of jobs for carpenters around here. I'll bet Jesus would have done a better job building my outbuilding than the guy we got to do it. However, I wouldn't want to see Jesus try to go to Home Depot or use power tools in his robe. I'll guess he's got a work suit underneath. I wonder if he could turn paint to woodstain?

P.S. Come to think of it, Jesus would have to update his skills; he wouldn't be too hot on the electrical wiring parts....maybe he'd work with a partner, or 12 of 'em!

Another good question. Jesus would be a teacher. And maybe a carpenter too. He is somebody who not only teaches but does the work. He forms and informs. Maybe He would teach on "This Old Church" so we could learn how to reform ourselves and fix the flooring too.

I think a Pub or an Off Licence would suit his water to wine skills very nicely.

There are some excellent opportunities in the city.

The furniture business. Maybe even the Cabinet Making business. Let's hope he doesn't need to study how to do carpentry again!
