Pray that your Dad will listen to you first, then ask your dad to go to the movies or out to eat withyou alone and tell him how you feel about the situation and that the arguing and fighting effects you and the other kids and that you need reassurance that everything will be alright. GOOD LUCK LET US KNOW HOW YOU ARE DOING!
Very Concerned.

I have yet to understand people, relationships and the damage they can do to their children. I have no idea how old you are. You're still young enough, it seems, that you have to rely on an adult for the necessities. Unfortunately it would appear that one of the most important necessities is not being provided -- that of nurturing. When adults are selfish and unwilling to compromise during conflict, everybody suffers and it's always the kids who suffer most. You seem to be more than aware of this. You shouldn't have to be in this position for starters but it looks like you may end up having to parent your siblings and give them the reassurance they are still loved. Your dad and the girlfriend are gonna have to either work through their issues or go their separate ways and that poor baby gets caught in the middle.

I am sorry to say that there is really nothing that you can do about it. It is horrible that parents do this to their children. We should not ever put adult problems onto the shoulders of our children. Maybe you can sit down and have a heart to heart talk with your dad about how you and the other children feel. I don't know how much good it will do but you can always give it a try. I really hope that things work out for you. Please take care of yourself.

Its sad that we adults see only what is affecting our lives and not the kids but you need to tell them how you feel about this and maybe he will see it is affecting you and you can all work things out together but if they do split again always know it is not your fault
