I'd need more details. Are the pictures digital or on film? Film will probably take overnight, I don't know if they have a 1 hour service. Digital they have several different machines you can use, and if you want your pictures right away out of the machine, you will pay more than if you're willing to wait for them to give them out to you. If you wait it might take a long time, even though it should only take an hour. I found this out the hard way. There was one lady in line in front of me, and she printed duplicates or triplicates of over 100 pictures, so that took a very, very, long time. Since I started my photos after hers, even though I only had 20 I wanted, it took forever. Over two hours, I think. And I didn't think the quality of photos from Walmart was that great either. Now I go to Cub Foods and use their Kodak printer, and for 19 cents each for a 4x6 picture I get really good photos. Good luck trying to get it done at Walmart. Price like I said depends on which machine you use at Walmart, and what size photos you want, because of cours 5x7 & 8x10 cost more. Good luck.

If you have a regualr roll of film, Wal-Mart has One-Hour photo developing that costs about $8 dollars for a roll of 24 pics. It will depend on when you drop the film off... if you do it early enough in the day, it will be ready in one hour, but if you come too near closing time, it will be the next day before they are ready.
If you have a digital cam with a memory card, just take the memory card to one of the picture maker machines. Put your card in and you'll have your pictures in a few minutes. That cost anywhere from 19-29 cents a print, just depends on the Wal-Mart.

Don't know about the do it yourself machine, but they will do it for you in less than an hour for $6-7/24 roll.
