What does mad mean?

Does it mean that he's throwing a 'temper-tantrum'? Or does it mean that he would PREFER that you spend time and is showing expressions of missing before you go?

First one is setting you up for being in an 'Unhealthy relationship'. This would mean that he's learning how to manipulate you for his self indulgences only; and he'll give little in return.

Second one is very enduring as it shows how much he values spending time with you. You can teach him the value of time apart in healthy ways to increase your longings to make the time you spend together valuable. You do need to let him understand how much you value being with him so he doesn't feel abandoned.

He is just that your boyfriend . He doesn't own you . Your not married to him , so let him get mad . He'll get over it . Just because you are boyfriend and girlfriend doesn't mean you have to do what all he says .
Besides your not married , so why stay with him . Call me old fashioned or what ever .
