I have no idea what you want to know about the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints. Do you want to know about the history of the church? Do you want to know about what we believe in? Here is a great website about our church i know that you said that you do not have a lot of time but if you can make a couple of minutes each day and look over the information then you will find out more about what you are looking for. Even if it is taking away a couple of minutes from this site. There is a place where you can choose what you want to look under. http://www.mormon.org/welcome/0,6929,403-1,00.html There is a lot of information on the church that it would take too long for us to write the information down and for you to read it. But i really do encourage you and others to look at the link in which i have provided.

Follow Miss D's advice. Go to www.lds.org. Or another website you go go to is www.mormon.org. On both websites you can find out more about mormons. However, of the two sites you will probably find more information on www.mormon.org. You can even request to speak with a member from that website.
I commend you for your desire to learn more. Now go to the next step and visit these sites.

What's the matter, you didn't like that answers you got a week ago on this same question?
Go to www.lds.org.
You will get a lot of people here answering your question by bashing the LDS faith. If you really want to know about Mormons, arrange to speak to the missionaries in your area.

The mormons claim they are the restoration of the true church established by Jesus Christ. It is not the Protestant or Catholic, but claims, rather, to be the only true church. They have four books they follow: The Book of Mormon, Doctrine of Covenants, the Bible, and The Pearl of Great Price. They believe in God, the eternal father, and His Son Jesus Christ, and of the Holy Ghost. They do not believe in the sacredness of Jesus Christ, saying that what happened to Him could happen to any mormon. Meaning Jesus was just a lucky chosen ordinary man.
It was created by a man named Joseph Smith Jr. who supposedly had two visions in which God told him the way his religion should go. He said that he went to a mountainside where he found the Book of Mormon.
If you closely study the history of mormonism, you will realize there are many mistakes in it. For example, the simple fact that the Book of Mormon, the sister to the Bible, wasn't even found until the 1820-1830's shows that everyone who died before that time never saw the true translation of the bible.. I suggest you read more on it. It's very interesting.

I doubt there's any way to just sum up what we believe in just one post here. But there are the 13 Articles f Faith.
1 We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.
2 We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam’s transgression.
3 We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.
4 We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.
5 We believe that a man must be called of God, by prophecy, and by the laying on of hands by those who are in authority, to preach the Gospel and administer in the fordinances thereof.
6 We believe in the same organization that existed in the Primitive Church, namely, apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and so forth.
7 We believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy, revelation, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth.
8 We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated ccorrectly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.
9 We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.
10 We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory.
11 We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.
12 We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.
13 We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.
