Does anyone out there use Mary Kay 3 in 1 Cleanser & Moisturizer?
Will it work even if you have acne?
I have tried a sample, but I really don't want to spend 40 bucks until I hear from you.

I am using the 3 in 1 cleanser and its great, But if you have acne I suggest using the Mary Kay Velocity line, That is how I got my acne under controll. It was amazing. I had tried almost everything. Ask for a sample of that and try it. And it costs less. Oh and if you dont like it, or you throw done 40 for the 3 in 1 and change your mind you can get your money back. I have done that in the past.

Mary Kay 3 In 1 Cleanser

A friend of mine saw my break outs and suggested I try the whole Mary Kay Line...cleanser + moisturizer ect. I needed a cleanser so I bought the 3 in 1. That was in September 2006 and it's now March 2007. I'm just fininshing the bottle and I love it. It is really thick so you only need to use a little. It removes make-up but leaves my skin feeling just a little bit dry. After that I used a light moisturizer and then TAZORAC cream - presrcibed by my dermatoligist for acne treatment, followed by a fade cream (Palmers Skin Success) only on the dark spots from prior break outs. My face is much better now. I love the difference. The Mary-Kay 3-in-1 works really well to remove dirt and make-up but I would definitley suggest following with a moisturizer that has an SPF of at least 15 or higher. I say go for it and use it sparingly. It's worth the $40.

I tried Mary Kay about 20 years ago when I was a teen and my face started breaking out. This could have been because I was a teen though I had not had a problem with break-outs before using Mary Kay. I 'd gone to a party and bought the whole kit and can't remember how much it was then. When my face started breaking out I called the distributor and she told me that it was the product ridding my skin of impurities that was causing the break-outs and I should continue to use them until my face cleared in a few weeks. After six weeks and I was still breaking out I stopped and my mother bought me some cleansers from a health food store and I have been using them ever since.

For the past 20 years I have been using Rachel Perry products. Am and pm I use Citrus-Aloe Cleanser and Face Wash followed in the am with Hi Potency E and Pure Retinol A Line Control and in the pm with Calendula - Cucumber Oil Free Moisturize then Retin A Micro. My face is clear, line free and my pores have shrunk to practically microscopic size, I am 36 and people never guess that I am over 25. The Retin A is very expensive and you need a prescription to get it,you may not even need it though. Rachel Perry can be found in most health food stores and online at http://www.rachelperry.net/ and has many different products for specific needs. I hope this helps you and good luck!

ive never tried the mary kaye 3 in 1 face cleanser - sorry. however, i do use Neutragena Rapid Clear oil controling face cleanser and i love it. its the best stuff ever. i wash my face with it at least twice a day, but usually three times and my face is oil free and acne free as well. ive been using it for about 4 years now and i wouldnt change for another kind ever. if you have bad acne, like i did when i started using it, it will take about a week and a half to two weeks to see a difference, but the longer you use it the more and more of a difference you will see. now after i have been using it so long, i rarely ever have any blemishes. the only ones i do have clear up quickly. you can get this face wash at walmart for about $6 and im sure you can buy it at target and other shopping places as well. hope this helps!

Thought I don't have the experience as the person above I find it hard to understand her belief that Mary Kay Velocity $22 system that last 3 - 4 month as being $$$ I do agree that the Proactive does dry your skin out most people I know tried it and found it only worked a short time and found it very drying. I think you need to have very oily skin this sytem was designed for the extream blemish problems. I don't know enough about the others to comment but I can tell you Mary Kay is a try before you buy product that is 100% guarenteed so you can try for yourself.

3 in 1 cleanser comes in two formula's one for normal to dry skin and one for combination to oil. We also have a whole line for blemish prone skin. What i have found when I have a customer prone to blemish they think they need a lot of additive products but after using the 3 in 1 for a few weeks find that it clear there skin up and they no longer need the added products.
Mary Kay products are 100% guaranteed so you ae never stuck with a product. I do tell people give it at least two weeks at theat point your consultant should do a check up appointment with you to make sure you are satisfied. If not you should contact her.

I used pro-active for about 6 months and then switched to MK. I got great results. I have oily skin and at the time it was very break-out prone. I really haven't had any break-out problems since then. I do recommend that you give it at least a month so that your skin has time to adjust. Also, if the moisturizer is too heavy for you, you might try the oil-free hydrating gel or oil controlling lotion.

By the way, yes, I sell MK, but just started selling it this summer and have been using for over 3 years, so I am speaking from experience, not as a seller.
