Wow.... I have never seen anyone lie so blatantly to try and find a Biblical inaccuracy. First, you have only copied and pasted part of the scripture. My online Bible has the following...
2 Samuel 8:3-4
3 Moreover, David fought Hadadezer son of Rehob, king of Zobah, when he went to restore his control along the Euphrates River. 4 David captured a thousand of his chariots, seven thousand charioteers [a] and twenty thousand foot soldiers. He hamstrung all but a hundred of the chariot horses.
1Chron 18:4
3 Moreover, David fought Hadadezer king of Zobah, as far as Hamath, when he went to establish his control along the Euphrates River. 4 David captured a thousand of his chariots, seven thousand charioteers and twenty thousand foot soldiers. He hamstrung all but a hundred of the chariot horses.
Why would you lie? Or were you mistaken? They look awfully similar to me..... in fact they are identical.
Is this what atheists have resorted to, lies and decepetion? Oh yeah, that's all they have ever had.

First, you misquoted the verse from Samuel...it says he took a thousan and seven hundred horsemen (nothing about chariots in the part of the verse)
Two accounts of the same event recorded hundreds of years apart. It appears that the accounting in Chronicles, which is considered less authoritative, may have added and combined some words. You are very correct in that they don't agree, but, as it is an accounting of David's accumulation of military units, it is of relatively little importance.

--So, what is it you are saying from this "important" finding?
--Should we now condemn the Bible or might there be a further explanation?
MAKE YOUR SELF CLEAR!
--OH , I SEE , YOUR being A TRICKSTER
--So Nathan or Gad, could not have been a little more precise, than Ezra.
--Could Ezra have been giving round figures? DID YOU NOTICE his figures were rounded out?(all 4 of them) OR SHOULD he not have committed that grave sin--in your wise estimate?
--DO YOU ever roundout your figures--OR do you consider that a sin in atheism?
--When a prophet of God does write or say something with not all the facts--- PRECISELY does that make the Bible invalid OR DOES IT show the flaw of the individual writer(or unconcerned with precision), ON MINOR MATTERS?
--Why not try growing up a little , it could make a difference in your outlook & outcome of life!

His quotes are accurate from the King James version of the Bible. In other translations the numbers match up. Thus, I don't see it as a Biblical error, but rather a translational error.

This is the problem with transmitting a story orally over thousands of years. Biblical "tall tale syndrome" kicks in. Check out the link for more.

Stop pointing out contradictions in the bible. You're going to cause people to start doubting it and loose their faith.
