Jesus is the Truth.
JN 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."

Truth is based in the evidence of real things, events, and facts. The truth is we don't know what the truth is when it comes to a book that was written over 2000 years ago. We have to look at all other evidences and information to get a real understanding of how events may have come about.
You can’t use a book in and of it self to prove itself. You have to look at all the other surrounding data to see how it all stacks up to scrutiny. I am sorry but Christianity like most other religions do not hold up to scrutiny of their fact in the belief there is a supreme being.
I can tell you what we are finding more evidence of extraterrestrial presence in our history than the presence of a God. Even with all the facts and preponderance of artifacts and writings we still ignore the truth. The truth is the religious don't want to here the facts and evidence presented. They don't want to be proven wrong in their faith and this is why our agencies like NASA hide indisputable evidence of other life it this universe. Once again the religious is stopping progress because they would try to destroy any proof the goes against their God beliefs.
Listen with an open mind to Jason Martell, Billy Meier, David Icke and many others. Our government is unwilling to divulge information and clergymen are unwilling to see the myriad of data we have on this subject. There is a massive cover up because the masses can't handle the truth. Being raised on delusion has its drawbacks.

It IS relative. Sorry!
As another person said, "the bible is the truth. It is just that everyone has their own interpertation of the bible."
Exactly!
I'll elaborate. Any statement whatsoever can be reduced to the formula "S is P" (subject equals predicate). Hence we say "Jesus is Truth." Well, if that's the case, then the idea of "Truth" is really implicit in the idea of Jesus; so our statement is redundant. And, of course, if that's not the case, then our statement is simply false. This leads to a paradox; because even the conclusion "Knowldege is a false idea" may be expressed as S=P. In other words, the process of definition is always "obscurum per obscuris." For there are no truly simple terms. There is no real intellectual perception possible. What we suppose to be such is in fact a series of more or less plausible conventions based upon the apparent parallelism of experience. There is no final warrant that any two persons mean precisely the same thing by "Truth" or "Jesus." Truth is relative! (Which, again, reduces to S is P, and therefore proves itself...lol.)

without using a dictionary, I would say truth is the quintessential of anything. it is that which makes something so. it is empirical evidence, but can also be anecdotal.
example:
the law of gravity (empirical)
what goes up, must come down (anecdotal)
EDIT : I also believe the Bible is the ultimate truth. It does not contain all the knowledge in the world, however. Because it is the "Truth", it can be exploited, misinterpreted, misquoted, and used for the opposite of which it intended. I believe that is one reason you can be sure it is Truth. It's a paradox; the more it's misused, the more truth it must hold.
Truth, in fact, is paradoxical in its nature. The more you look for the truth, the more you find, and the more difficult it is to find. If you simply look around you, however, you see truth all around. That's why science cannot see it. It is self evident that there is a Creator. Since He cannot be bottled, they say He doesn't exist.

Truth is the answer to all your questions, truth has no ambiguity, it clear and concise.
Truth is the testamant of God, that teaches us how to live and how to act on earth.
I beleive that truth is the word of God, which is in Jesus Christ... the bible (basic instructions before leaving earth).
I believe that Jesus Christ has set me free, so for me He is Truth!
