Not sure I understood your question 100%. Did you mean, "Being intelligent attracts possible partners"?
I would say a resounding YES!!!
Especially if the possible partner is intelligent, he/she is likely to want to be able to hold a stimulating conversation with you. Clever/thoughtful things you say could also leave a favorable impression on the other person. I have had experiences where the other party thinks I'm interesting to talk to, so tried to arrange for more outings with me. I've also experienced the reverse, where I'm attracted to the really intelligent guys who I can learn interesting things from.

When I meet men for the first time they comment on how they are attracted to my 'intelligence'. They say how refreshing it is to be around a woman who can hold an intelligent conversation, yada, yada. The bottom line, at the end of the date they're still hoping to jump into bed. I don't trust anyone these days - everyone out for themselves. It's really very sad that dating has come to this.

I think brainy guys are so hot! Not smart- alacks or complete nerds. A guy has to be both book smart and socialy smart. Often they are one or the other. I had the biggest crush on a guy from 5th grade all the way through highschool. He wasn't good looking at all, but I thought he was hot because he was smart. We actually had a kind of GPA rivalry going on, but if he had only known what I really thought of him!

it all depends on the who , how and when , if you find yourself seeing a movie with a girl , no intelligence is needed there to make an advance , i guess , also u cant apply your smart skills on a girl that will never get it and so on ,anyways intelligence is needed throughout the whole relationship to keep it alive
