I would choose the one I wanted to marry..yes your parents love you and all...but what if you loose the person that makes your life feel complete..

Its not a stupid question, sometimes parents can see things we can't see, and they can see down the road further than we can. If I had listened to mom about my childrens father, I would not be in the situation im in now. 10 years taken and cant get them back, I have been blessed to move on, but the abusive 10 years me and my children went thru can never be given back and it wouldnt even be like that, if only I had listened.
Not saying all this for you not to marry who you love but really, find out why they are trying to get you to choose someone else, this other person...I didnt say they always knows whats best,, but listen and be cautious, youll be glad you did in the long run..

I have never asked my kids to choose between me or the one they love. That is very selfish of parents.

well your parents do not have to live with the person for the rest of there lives , on the other hand ha ha there is no other hand , unless your indian and its an arranged marrige! are you indian ?

if me and that person we love each other very much... but if my parents wil not agree with me to let me get married with him.. i know its hard to choose only one who i will be with in my future life. how much i hurt if i choose to go on the way which my parents wanted me to... i will go for them... i didn't want to but i can't go for what i want just only for myself... i can hurt myself but i will not hurt my parents...
if i have chosen to do what my parents want... this is problem between me and my love we have to solve it out between two of us.. he is hurt but i am hurt too. i am hurt that i have to left him... and i chosen not to be with him.
we both hurt but i any way i will not let my parents down. i didn't mean i don't love that man i used to love any more. i will not kill myself for this question if i can not choose only one who i will be with. but however i will love my parents... because i can accept this hurt from this answer but i can not hurt my parents. a man i love also, i will let him hurt... and i am hurt also.
so we both hurt.. but nobody else part from two of us.
so however i have chosen to be with my parents, in deep i am quite please that i still know my man still love me.. that he hurt because me.. i hurt because i love him very much.
in my little memory i never forget him... i never forget.
how much hurt i will keep these beautiful feeling that he and me are hurt in the same way
