for all guys we have rules for taking a girl as our best friends, and i brok rule number 1. dont fall in love with her. we spent a year being best friens and getting to know everything about eachother and we got really close. even to today, she says no guy, or person makes her feel as safe as she does when im around. i know shes the one i want to marry someday. the problem is, in our first year, we could hardly ever see eachother cuz she had this bf that was insane jealous, after a while we got together, but her mom hates me. she hated me before she met me, she caught us kissing, and that was the final straw for her. she told her never to see me or talk to me again, we still talk, but its been hard, we cant see eachother. we stopped getting a long so well, and we started dating other people, but i want her back, its been a long 10 months without her and im going to try talking to her mom and get her to change her mind? what do i do? what do i say? what if she loves the bf? what then?

i go to a public school and she goes to a private one. her mom works at her school and all the mothers over there are very involved with their kids lives. all the students and parents meet so everyone knows everyone. i think thats why her mom was cool with the kid shes dating now and not me.
that and the kiss. well, it was more like making out, she jumped me, i took her shirt off, my pants were unbottoned, and i had her in my arms up against a wall, making out pretty intensely, thats what she walked in on so i understand. when her mom caught us she was like "you whore" and my gf started shaking. soo, i took the blame so she wouldnt get into trouble. i didnt think shed keep me away like this though.
apparently she had already not liked me though cuz she said we talked too much on the phone. we did talk alot, but only cuz we lived so far away and could hardly see eachother, we missed eachother like crazy, she used to tell me shed leave her new guy for me, idk if she still would.

Love is very jaded and cruel ith our hearts sometimes, think most often we (as humans) want what we cant have or should have. Ive read the best book on that "the art of seduction", by robert greene... its a MUST HAVE, but keep it a secret.
Talk to your friend first, she's your friend... express how you feel and let her response guide your decision. if she's not interested, no need to talk to the mother. If you cant verbalize it, write a letter, if your best penmanship. Women are suckers for handwritten letters. LOL... hand deliver it to her, when she's alone... and tell her "just read this when youre in bed tonight".
if she shows other people , then screw her...shes insensitive and immature. If not... wait until she comes to you with a response, other than that dont act one ounce different. She needs to know your friendship isnt conditional, or then it will seem false.

The first rule for guys who have a girl as their best friend is not to not fall in love with her. You can't control your feelings. Though what I would suggest is that you need to be upfront with her. Even though i am confused about how you are in love with her, because you never get to see each other and don't get to talk very often, it is not my place to understand.
The biggest thing that I suggest, as a girl whose best friend is a guy, is that you shouldn't try and change her mind about who she is dating now and try to convince her to go out with you. What you should do is tell her how you feel, and find out how she feels. if she is truly your best friend then you need to be honest with her and she will be honest with you. Keep a free flowing dialog with her.
If she loves her new boyfriend then there isn't too much you can do other than be supportive of her, I know it doesn't seem fair, but that is what you have to do.
I would be curious as to how old both of you are, and how long you have known each other. That would help me to be able to understand better what is going on.

Why doesn't her mom like you? Is it that you are both too young or that there is an age difference? Is there either an ethnic difference or a religious difference. Just seeing your daughter kiss a boy does not make sense to me. Was what mom saw really more than just a kiss? I think tallking to her mother is an excellent idea, let her know that your intentions are to get to know her daughter better and that you do not want to get too serious until you have both graduated from college and are sure of what you want inlife. I think Mom will be impressed and will get outof the way. Then it is up to you to get thegirl to realize how wonderful you really are. good luck -k- (i'm a mom)

Ofcouse if you say you have her her mom would say no.Wat the hell are you thinking you have to say can i be your? like when u marry "will you TAKE ME.." well first depend wat kind of a mom her mom is and second is the girl still have a feeling for you cause if you talk to her mom now she will think u are a stalker. nway if she still have a feeling for her just be there for her whenever she need you even if you date other people you still can be best friend and when both of you break up you can get back together adn by that time her mom would probably forgot who you are. Note* there are better advie out there but remember "I got a whole life to live, a whole life to try"

Hey, Im really sorry about your best friend. I resentlly had the same thing happen to me and I was heart brocken except this was my best friend Andy . I would try talking to her mom and asking her what it is that made her mad and tell her your sorry if there is anything you did to make her mad. I don't if there's anything you can do if she likes this other guy ,but I would try talking to her and express how you fell and tell her you'll always be her best friend even if things don't work out. If she does still like you again make sure you talk to her parents and I wish you the best of luck with your best friend

Her mom hates you? Why?
First thing is to get brutally honest with yourself. Is there something you've done or said to make her Mom not trust you? If you discover you've done something wrong, admit it. Work on it. We all make mistakes. We all can grow.
Next thing. Don't be needy. Sounds like you really want this girl, but although a "poor me" attitude may get you sympathy, I don't think that sympathy is what you want. Be OK with not having her... live your life... let her know you're interested, but be a guy that's worth her interest.

well, yeah. first talk to her mother. explain to her how it was just a lil kiss and that it happened so suddenly and it was meant to be a friendly kiss. then talk to your friend. explain to her the feelings you have for her. tell her that its an uncontrollable feeling. then see what happens next. and if she chooses her bf then at least she'll always know how you felt about her. good luck

seems like your in a tight spot listen tell you girl friend the way you feel and talk 2 her mom and tell her how you feel about her daughter (mushy stuff gets to them fast) tell her you will take care of her and ext.. if it doesznt work out hey there is still a million girls out there!

..Just tell her mom that you love her and she's that girl that you want to marry. Say what your heart says. If she loves her bf..then sorry you can't make someone like you back..I guess you either have to wait or find someone else.
