If you were goin out with a girl and her prom was coming up would you be mad if she were going with another guy. Especially if she had made plans with this guy way before yall got together. Would you break up with her?

Ok Just to let yall know I am a girl asking for advice to see how this guy might react. But what if me and this guy aren't going out yet, we are just talking. Can he really get mad after all he hasn't asked me out plus we are taking it slow. I haven't even mentioned about me going to prom with that other guy because I want to wait....

If there were prior plans, and now you two are together, it is only fair to break off the prior plans, and go with the new boyfriend. If that does not happen, sorry, but time to locate a girl who has her priorities straight. This is the only way to handle this. If the male doesn't shake the female (leave) then the male isn't much of a man, now, is he? No offense, but I would give her the chance to see things correctly, which doesn't take very long. Once I see which choice she makes, then I can base my decision on that. Hopefully she will have the common sense and courtesy to talk to the other guy and let him know she is dating someone now, and cannot go out with him afterall. She has to do the right thing and go to the prom with her new beau. This better be her decision, also.

funny thing my wife and i were in the same situation back when we first started dating. I let her go to the prom with the guy (but he was absolutely no threat) but you might want to note that i also divorced her.........my suggestion depends on the guy if you feel that hes threat then give her a choice i mean she CAN change her mind it is allowed. My x-wifes date was such a looser that we both agreed that he would never find another date so i threw him a bone and let him have his meaningless date that was doomed to never make it 20 mins after prom was over.

umm tell me a guy that wouldent then get back 2 me b/c when a guy loves a girl he doesnt want anything 2 happen 2 her like if the guy your taking 2 the prom breaks your heart then your bf is most likely 2 kick his *** it wouldent be a good idea 2 do that.try 2 get another girl 2 go with that other guy and u go with your bf.

It comes down to what you want! The guy, who you don't want to hurt his feelings, is not your boyfriend, and you have no commitment to him. If you decide you want to go out with the prom guy, out of courtesy, I would tell the other guy the prom date asked you to go to the prom, and you accepted. Tell him you've been looking forward to the prom, and excited about getting to go! You decide!

I would be mad because if she and I were talking, why wouldn't she bring me? It doesn't matter that she asked someone else a while ago, that was then and this is now. I should be the one to go. I would break up with her for that. It's totally disrespectful... to me!

if you had made plans before got a boyfriend to go to a prom with some one else. No. a promise is a promise And you must keep it. what good is it if you can not keep your promise. Remember that.

yes. if you made prom plans, then you shoudn't have started going out with somebody else...when it came time for my senior prom, my girlfriend decided she wanted to go with another guy, so i told my boss to put me on the work schedule for that night. well, the guy she was going to go with cancelled, and she got mad at me because i wouldn't call in sick and take her..i figured she made her choice, so nuts to her.

no i would not get mad. she had already mad plans to go to prom with this other dude before the two of you hooked up.you should trust her.
