My mums started thinking about sorting out her Will, she dont no where to start tho... what does she have to do first???
Who does she got to talk to about it???

Bear in mind that it is NOT necessary to deal with a solicitor. So long as you make your wishes perfectly clear and get your signature witnessed by two independent people, that's really all you need. However, there are sites on here where you can download the main forms or you can get books from the library about how it's done.

Go to either a solicitor, her bank or buy the whole set from a good stationers which gives all the instructions of what to do. That is the cheapest way and all she will have to do is get two independent witnesses to sign it (which they do not have to read).

She should see a solicitor but she will have to pay, Citizens Advice should be able to help. Or you can buy Will documents from WH Smith and it gives you loads of info in there, thats where i got mine from.

get a solicitor to do it . it will cost about £100. tell her to jot down what she wants done before she goes to see them and save time.
