Ok i know when you're in a hurry for work, or tired of being in traffic and just want to get home makes people sortove aggitated i understand that.
Just when I see that a car has had their turning signal on for a good few moments and finally has a chance to get over, begins proceeding into next lane, why do some quickly speed up so the person can't get into the lane.

Whenever i'm at a red light and look to my right and see the car next to be has his blinker on, i'll even start off slow when light turns green so he can get over if traffic is heavy.
I mean so many have missed there exits because of this, when they had there signal on for a good half mile so they weren't exactly waiting till last minute to get over.
I mean why bother having turn signals, only to let people behind you know you're slowing down to turn.
Are we that busy we can't let some one in a lane to get home?
With so many things out there making life easier, can we take time to be considerate?
Ranting sorry

I'm not venting, i just wanted to know everyones views on the matter. To help me understand better, so i don't get to aggrivated.
I mean some people do it for fun ( i think) to just speed up so the other can't get in the lane and aggrivate people!

because once they get into a 2 ton vehicle, they feel they have power. If they were not in a car or a truck they would not act so aggressive. It's something to do with the illusion of power because they are in a vehicle. They think that you will never see them again so they do it.
Most drivers cut in front of people to piss them off deliberately . I know that sometimes people look at me and stare and cut me off. So it could be some power trip to make themselves feel better.

Drivers are some of the most inconsiderate people on Earth--esp. here in NJ!!! People should be more courteous but are usually more worried about getting home and doing whatever they have to do. Sometimes I don't let someone in my lane, but that's only if I'm going 65 and they're only going 50. That would force me to push on the brakes and might cause an accident. Other than that, just be kind and you will find there are some other nice drivers out there. Just not too many!

I agree with you to a point. However, there are so many people that wait until the last possible second to get over because they don't want to be in the slow lane or whatever. It's these people that irritate me because they end up holding up traffic as they try to get over because *they* were in too much of a rush. It's similar to waiting until the last second to merge over because you want to get 3 cars ahead. That's irritating to me!

Do you really need an answer, or just venting? Stress. People going to (or from) work, feeling pressure. It is human nature to treat others the way that we feel. Unfortunate, but true, if we were as good at controlling or understanding our emotions, as we were creating technological advances, the world would be a much better place.

I think that many people are so self absorbed about getting to where they are going, manners are non-existant.

Drive defensively, do your very best every time you drive, keep on being considerate.
