Some times we can't see the forest because of all the trees?
To become homeless is happening more and more in the US sometimes we are victims of unforeseen circumstance, sometimes we cause our own dilemma. You provide no status of your age, capability's, health, gender, willingness to work, etc. You either own a computer or you are in the library.
I have not been in a city in the US that I have not seen help wanted signs some where, whether its washing dishes, or cleaning toilets, which I have done most of my life. I learned young in life if you want to eat, you have to work?
So go wash your face, quit feeling sorry for yourself and get a job. It's a funny thing? People seem to know when a person has a willing attitude and an honest heart.
You will then see the goodness in other people and they help you. Sometimes we get lazy in our thinking? and sometimes we think the world owes us? You are living in a country that has more opportunity than anywhere else in the world. I know because I worked all over the world.
So if you have your health and think you want to make the effort, Just do it? If you want to know the truth of God's word start with John 17:3. gemhandy@hotmail.com

You've made it to level 4 in a month on a library computer. What else are you doing?

Why are you on the streets? Why did you get put out 3 years ago and has anything changed?

e-mail me if you want advice - real advice - and not preaching.

Well, it's a business, the shelter gets funding for full beds and they must follow the funders rules rather than answer to that higher authority they are always talking about.
Love and forgiveness go out the window, when money is involved.

No. You have to help yourself. Nobody will do it for you and not many will really care. I sort of care but I have my own things to take care of. Like all of us, you are on your own. If you claim to be useless then you will be useless. Start claiming to be worthwhile and useful. As for not feeling like going on - GET OVER IT!!! That may sound harsh but it is the only answer that will keep you alive.

People: There are such things as internet cafes.

Well not to sound harsh, but get off your butt and do something like find a job.

If you have the time and energy to sit on the internet all day on YA answers then you can find the time and energy to better yourself. No one else is going to do it for you, so quit crying "poor me" and do something about it.

To far too many organizations Religion is business. Try a different shelter. And try to get back on your feet. Good luck.

Go to work

Swallow your pride and do anything! Anything that makes money and is legal. Go from there . . .

If you can go the internet (library, etc) you can figure this out!
