Sorry, to say but you will have to deal with it. No matter if the hair dye is permanent or semi-permanent, it will last a while. Washing your hair repetitively will take away the colour but that will make your scalp sensitive and leave your pours open. To my common knowledge there aren't any if many shampoos or conditioners that will take the dye out of hair.

You can use strong shampoos, even dish liquid to help fade the color, but you won't get your 'normal' hair color back. It'll just be a faded version of whatever you put in. I'm not sure what you mean by 'a mixture of brown and blonde', is it brown with blonde highlights? Or you mixed a brown and a blonde color to get that color? There is a product to take out the color, so you can recolor, but it can be tricky to get it right. Call the Clairol helpline for advice, you can get the # on their website. Or you can also email. They can advise you on what to do.

I like John Frieda Sheer Blonde. It lightens your hair and brings out highlights. I have had a bad coloring experience where the color was to dark or too mousy and with in a week of using Sheer Blonde, my hair was at a more natural color. Also, John Frieda makes a hair color glaze that you use after shampooing and conditioning. I really like that product! It warms up you color so it doesn't have a washed out look. You can also go to a beauty supply store and ask the clerk to help you pick out a toner. A toner will help calm down the dark tones and give you a more natural color. Make sure you are leaving your conditioner in for about five mins. and combing it through in the shower.

Now since you have a mixture of brown and Blond it sounds like you may have done some lightening. Unfortunately you cant have the blond fade.

Depending on your natural color there are some color enhancing shampoos that are available at some salons that can "add" some color to your hair. other wise if you had it done at a salon they have an obligation to fix it for you.

Did you do this yourself? My advice is to see a professional stylist, someone with a great reputation and have them dye it to something as close to the original color as possible. Bring the stylist a picture with your natural hair color. Then wait until your hair complete grows out. There isn't a way to shampoo it out.
