i've had a crush on him for about 6 months. he has a girlfriend. i used to be jealous. but i got over it. i tried and find another person to crush on , but i don't like anyone else at my school. how do i get over my best guy friend. i don't think about him that much anymore. i want to get all of him out of me though. We've been knowing each for 3 years. I assume if he didn't try to go with me by now. he does not like me, so i have to move on. please tell me how. we take all our classes together.

Summer is coming, so you won't have to see him all the time then. Try to meet someone over the summer. The best way to get over someone is with someone else.

Bless your heart infatuation can be painful. When one is falling in like with someone one puts their focus on all of the good things about that person and inflates the value of the good things to the point that all flaws seem to disappear.
It is possible to do the opposite to the point that the person that you are focused on will appear to have no character assets at all. May I suggest that you try that for awhile look for flaws and dwell on them for a bit.... you will loose interest rapidly.
The latter has been the cause of billions of divorces it's a tried and true method of aversion therapy. Not so warm and fuzzy but it works.

Sorry, but I think in order to get over someone, you have to not be able to see them for a while, you could say that you need some space from him and he would understand or you could just go on blind dates until you find a guy that would be good to have a crush on.
