I am looking for the specific Bible version that states Luke 6:32 as the following:

"Love the people who do not love you, and then you will be rewarded".

I looked up most versions but they do not state that. I can not seem to find what version it came from. Thank you!:)

I just looked up that verse on biblegateway using 20 different bibles. The closest it came was in the New Life Version:

If you love those who love you, what reward can you expect from that? Sinners also love those who love them.

Luke 6:35
"But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men."

New American Standard Bible

Is this what you were looking for?

If I think what you are asking is correct...no it is saying that what good is it to love only those who love you back. What is the difference between you and sinners who are also capable of love. Christians are commanded to love eveybody, even the sinner, not just other Christians.

I dont know what translation that was, but mine says:

"And if you love only those loving you, of what credit is it to you? For even the sinners love those loving them"

I do not think you will find it

I do not think that it says what you want it to say

Luke 6:32 says that even pagans love their own . . . loving your own is easy . . .

The context is about loving your enemy . . . that can only be done through Christ
