You need to be more secure and trusting. My bf is nine years older than me too and I don't really question anything he does. Has he given you any reason to believe that he may be doing something wrong? Alcohol can only do so much.. I think that if he really cares about u he'll act right.

Well you need to understand that he's been drinking for a long time and hopefully by now he knows how to control his alcohol and he won't do anything he'll regret. Just know that just because someone drinks it doesn't mean that they are automatically drunk or that they are going to get to the point where they can't control themselves. If he drinks like that on a regular basis then you have a right to be worried but if he seems in control of himself when he drinks then you should be okay. If it will ease your fears you could always call and check up on him (every once in awhile, not all the time!) when you know he's drinking just to make sure he sounds okay, etc. Unless he's done something to betray your trust before, you really don't have anything to worry about.

you know what? if you are not of drinking age yet and he has been for a while and you are worried about things with him.............find someone else. age is not too important but what are you really worried about? and if he cannot tell right from wrong then find someone that is mature enough and you can share things with more your age. if you are worried about his judgement then you must worry about if he meets someone at a bar and cheats on you. You do not need this hun. It's not worth it.

i think before anything else u should ask urself , is his frinking a problem ? meaning is he drinking like everyone else , or does he get carried away ? if he gets carried away , then u should ask ur self whats the real reason after his drinking , and when u figure it out , then try resolve this issue with him , good luck :)

has he done anything to break your trust in the past? talk to one of his guy friends and ask them to keep an eye out if he's drinking. other than that, if he has done nothing to doubt your trust, then let him be.

You are not mature enough to deal with this guy, which is why you feel insecure. Find a boy closer to your age and you won't have this problem.
