Used to be NYC but no more. I'd say LA or DC

I am British I profess I have been to few cities in America however I have been:

New York - A little rude but a lot less than London or Paris

Chicago - Generally quite friendly

Philidelphia - Friendly although some seemed a bit false.

Baton Rouge - Nasty rude and deeply racist.

Just an opinion.

I don't think you can pick one city over another. On the whole, as far as regions go, I would say that the south has the most polite people, followed by the midwest, the west and then the northeast. I have to travel a lot so I've been to all of these regions many times.

In my travels I have found that Ft. Lauderdale, Fl has the rudest folks in town.

Most people that I talk to think that Chicago does, but in my experience they are just fast paced folks that do not have time for others, but they aren't all that rude. The people in Ft. Lauderdale really just are rude for the sake of being rude.

Well I know Saint Petersburg Florida where I'm at has the angriest people..a national study confirmed this..but rudest I would have to say Florida too..cranky old people, that all I have to say, but I'm sure everyone thinks their state is worse.

I think it's all subjective ...

I've spent time in DC ... and found the people there to be more ambilvilent than rude. However, during my time in NYC, I was overwhelmed by how unfriendly and hostile everyone was.

i saw results from a sociological study on tv that indicated those on the east coast were the most unfriendly/unsociable and as you moved west in the U.S. people were more friendly, with those on the west coast being the most friendly/sociable. I don't regard people in such a generalized manner- we should all give ourselves the opportunity to be nice to one another

I'm from Texas, I think 90% of us are nice to everyone.
We talk with manors still and help others out.
I think most of the South still believes in morals.
So if you want rude and unfriendly stay away from the South....

So Not All Of The U.S.A. Is Rude!

Have a great day!
