I probably do not have to tell you that the priesthood is nothing to be entered into lightly. It is a life-long commitment. The education lasts seven? years before you can be ordained. There is a great shortage of priests right now. If this is something you feel strongly contact your local priest and tell him how you feel. I am sure he can point you in the right direction. Good luck in whatever you decide.

My mom was seriously considering being a nun for a long time. She finally went on one of those retreats for girls thinking about it, and spent a lot of time in personal prayer and meditation.
It was when she was pondering over a painting of "the sacred family" (Mary, Joseph and Jesus) that she felt very strongly that God wanted her to follow a path that would lead her to motherhood instead.
Being her daughter, and result of that decision, I'm glad that's the one she made - I think she did the right thing in seriously seeking out God's will for her as an individual.
Good luck in all your tough choices.

If you have actually taken the time to read the bible and not just flick through it, you would see that it says to:
1) Love god
2) love your neighbor
Jesus also gave the command to go out preaching.
So unless you are doing all 3 of these, plus all the other things that god commands, then it is not what god wants in your life

Pursue it and pray over it at the same time. If God closes the door, He closes the door, but don't let any grass grow under your feet searching for His will and keep Jesus Christ at the center of it all. Don't get caught up in petty legalities like the pharisees.

Go on a retreat, any parish will be able to direct You to one near where every You are, if You're in the western part of the world. Reflection and meditation should allow any vocational passage to present itself.

The catholic priesthood is not a good thing...
1 Timothy 2:5 "There is but one mediator between God and man....the man Christ Jesus"
Consider what the Word says.....
The catholic catechism says that salvation is not attainable outside of the church........this is dead wrong.....among other things.
It is also riddled with idolatry.
