Yes, dogs snore. I had a dog that snored so much that I thought she needed her tonsils removed. It was so bad that she would stop breathing, then gasp. I used to only think it was dogs with snub noses, like boxers, bulldogs, and such. But it doesn't matter what kind of dog it is, some of them do and others dont

Most Pits snore. My Son has one and one of my friends has one. They both snore like hell. Take her to the vet and have her checked out. If all is well, get some tennis balls and when she snores toss a ball and hit her. Not hard, just enough to disturb her sleep. If she sleeps on your bed, get a soft pillow and hit her with it. Again, not hard, just enough to disturb her sleep.

My pit bull pup it 13 weeks, she snores to, nothing is wrong with her she just does. Sometimes it depends on how she is laying. If something is under her neck she may snore louder. Just nature. Same reason people snore I guess. My cocker spaniel and German Shepard snore too.

Some dogs most with the short noses do snore.
My doberman snores sometimes. Depends on which way he puts his nose how loud he gets.
It is normal and nothing to worry about. Unless it is keeping you awake at night.

Snoring is pretty common in bully breeds. So is farting. Im sure your dog is fine. My pit snores too sometimes. Dont worry.

That's probably just the breed. My boyfriend had one and he snored so loud that he woke himself up. I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you want, your vet should be able to tell you if it's something to worry about.

I have a 15 year old bulldog and he doesnt snore. but your pitbull probably has snoreificitis and it could damage his brain if it gets too much outside air dude. shove a plug up that dog's nose or something fool like chopsticks and get him to a vet.

Aaahh...Just let him sleep. My dogs kick, squeak, snore, snort, fart, bark, growl, basically anything they can do awake and willingly, they can do in their sleep. My advice honey..is to get ear plugs. I don't think you can stop it!!
