The secret is acknowledging the true purpose of food as fuel rather than entertainment. Focus on protein, fats, and carbohydrates and learn about each of them. A little bit of research online will teach you a lot. Remember, don't diet; change your eating lifestyle. Doing so will change your life for the better. For the exercise, consider it a priority to include it into your routine.
Anyway, if you want it simple, here it is in ten steps:
1. protein is good...eat plenty (about 30% of your caloric intake)
2. fats are good and bad...know the difference
3. saturated and trans fats are the bad ones - limit these
4. poly- and mono-unsaturated fats are good - don't be afraid of them
5. carbohydrates are good and bad...know the difference
6. fibers and complex carbs are the good ones - eat these (about 40% of your caloric intake)
7. sugars and simple carbs are the bad ones - limit these, particularly late in the day (stay away from sodas and chips!)
8. drink water - lots and lots and lots of water. It's the only drink you need. Anything else is either wasted or simply bad for you
9. Eat 4-6 "meals" a day to boost your metabolism.
10. A meal is defined as a portion of a low-fat, protein rich entree, a portion of veggies for vits/mins, and a portion of complex carbs. (You can get these combined as a health shake)
For exercise, it's even simpler:
1. 4-6 hours per week
2. 45-90 min each day you exercise
3. do aerobic exercise (20-40 min) every day you exercise
4. work abdominals every day you exercise (between sets makes it easy)
5. do chest and triceps exercises on one day
6. do back and biceps exercises on a different day
7. do legs and shoulder exercises on a different day
8. do your exercises in sets (i.e. 3 times with 6-12 repetitions each)
9. keep a record of what you do to measure progress.
10. when your progress stalls (called "plateau"), switch up your routine.

You don't need a diet plan to reduce weight and have a healthy skin .Follow these simple rules:
1. Control your calorie intake -do not exceed 2200 kcalories a day.
2. Excercise.Go to the gym at least 5 times a week.No heavy liftings.
3. Avoid fried foods.Don't eat pizza and ice cream.
4. Eat every 3 hours but limit your food to low calorie ones- mainly fruit and veggies.Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and it must be heavy.
5. Drink lots of water and green tea too.
6. Sleep 8 hours a day.
7.Don't smoke and limit your alcohol intake.
8. take multivitamins.
I hope this would help. This is what I do everyday. I used to weigh around 95-98 kgs. at 5'8" in height. Now I weigh around 72-75 kgs since starting this regimen 2 years ago.

i struggled with weight for 15 years and would laugh at people that told me a low carb diet worked-- well i figured fat made you fat not carbs-- i finally gave it a go and with excercise 45 minutes a day plus light weights and 50 carbs or less a day i lost 50 pounds in 3 months--eat a lot of protein like eggs and chicken-- it is boring and monotinous for those three months but after you get thin you can start to add more carbs like 100 per day and still maintain your lost weight-- you can also eat ice cream and bad food once a week with virtually no change in weight--it is amazing how fast it works if you do not cheat and stick to the 50,carbs or less a day approach when i say carbs i mean from flour not vegeteables -- basically it is atkins or south beach basically the same-- my skin also cleared up and i looked about 7 years younger--- if you are not willing to give up all those foods for 3 months then dont bother and you have to excercise fairlly hard for 45 minutes at least 6 times a week-- soon u just get used to doing it and it becomes a routine that is easy-- your mind will endlessley try to tempt you to give up or cheat but you have to resist all temptations to succeed-- put up pictures around the house of the body you want and always keep a strong visual picture of your goal without it you will fail-- join a gym and just bear with all the bad feelings you have around all the in shape people -- in 3 months i wen t from the lame fat guy in the gym to much better toned and ripped then any of them --eat or drink your carbs(protein shake after your workout) with some protein your body needs to recover after the workout or you will not see results-- i never understood that part either -- i thought why would you put food in you after the workout after you had just worked so hard to burn it-- well that is the way it works--
eating actually burns almost as much calories as working out ! so if you are constantly snaking on low carb or better no carb food all day-- boiled eggs, chicken, vegetables, your body becomes a furnace burning fat-- eat a decent breakfast eggs with turkey slices, snack all day ( veggies and meat) then workout-- then recover with a protein shake that has a small amount of carbs, sugar, and lots of protein-- booom you are a 24 hour fat burning machine-- by week 3 you will have lost 10 pounds if you are strict by 3 months you will have no gut and start to see your muscles bulg--- good luck and if you are not 100% commited you will fail dont cheat even once because it leads to many more......... trust me the results of feeling good outside and inside are better then any large pizza and man this ex fat boy loves the pizzaoh oh ya no beer either it is loaded with carbs even the light stuff-- i know you are gonna be lame for a while but it will be the best 3 months ever once you are done

Hi there.
There is no one diet to suit everybody and it would be impossible for me or anyone else on here to suggest a diet to do what you want for you. All we can do is tell you what works for us and that might or might not help you.
Having said that, there are a few things that I can suggest. For about a month, strictly keep a food diary of everything you eat or drink including quantities of such. After a month, you will then have a very good idea of what you eat.
You will then need to look at the amounts of the different food groups you eat each day. 5 a day of fruits and vegetables are a good idea and if possible, eat fruit with your breakfast.
You will need to cut carbohydrates out of your diet completely and then gradually re-introduce them to see the effect they have on you. If they make you put weight on then reduce the amount you eat. Remember that potatoes and beans count as carbohydrates, not vegetables.
Everyone must have about 30mg of fat in their diet every single day. The body uses fats to help them break down the proteins in your diet If you do not have enough fats in your diet, then your body will start to break down your muscle for energy instead of the proteins.
Look at how you cook your foods. Steaming and grilling may be alternatives for you, to frying but there is nothing wrong with the occasional fried food.
Everything in moderation.
Also look at exercise. exercising for 30 minutes 2 or 3 times a week will do wonders. Think about trying water-based exercises such as aquarobics/aquafit. these are actually 10 times mores effective for helping you to tone and lose weight as the water increases the amount you can do and reduces the strain on your body.

Try the system below...it's not a diet, but rather a method for shifting your eating and exercising habits into good ones...one step at a time. Drinking water can have a positive affect on your skin and reduce some of the oilyness. Hope that helps. Best of luck!

I dropped 16 lbs. and 20 1/4 inches in 10 days. I have more energy and stamina. I have gone on to lose 48 lbs and 88 1/2 inches and have kept it off for 2 1/2 years.
My husband did the same unique cleansing system and dropped 8 lbs and gained 11 inches of lean muscle.
My doctor is also using this program in her medical practice.
