Sure, I like it when a woman glances at me or speaks, I am very happily married, not exactly young, not the best of self esteem. But it makes me feel a little more confident when that happens.

Yea, a lot of it could be about ego, however, I'm assuming in your flirting scenario here that the guy has initiated some flirting of his own to see if the targeted gal will reciprocate. It's just sort of a safe and harmless way to "test the waters" and get something started with someone you are interested in.

What are you 12. Its the love game and flirting is the first move of many to be made. It says I'm avaliabe and I find you attractive how do you feel. You know like when you pass notes in grade school "I like you do you like me".

why , do you flirt with lots of guys? i'm a guy and i dont necessarily like it when a girl 'flirts' with me unless there has already been a mutual connection that is leading toward a real relationship. girls that just flirt with guys they find attractive, this meaning any guy they find attractive are what i coin as ' loose women'. i dont want that type of girl. when i see a girl that doesnt fall into the catagory of someone known to me and a chemistry is building, when i notice a girl just flirting with me, i just have to think ; ' she probably does this to all kinds of guys'. so it doesnt do anything for me.

girls like it when guys flirt with them also so you also like it not always an ego boost but sometimes is it just is something fun to do

Guys love it because it raises their self esteem...I guess...if you keep doing that they get to like you because it seems that you admire them so much but like if a lot of girls flirt with him..then he's an egotistic player.
