I think animals are aware of danger, pain, and loss. But I don't believe they comprehend death the way we as humans do.

There is a definite difference between human and dog behavior.

They are aware when they are in serious deathly trouble. When in trouble they will sometimes "tell" you and permit you to do things they usually wouldn't accept.

There generally comes a time when you can see that the dog has given up the fight for its life. (illness)

When a dog dies, the others do not seem to remember for long. They might look for it for a day or two and wonder where you are taking the body right after death. After the body has been removed, they do not seem to go around sad.

One dog that was ill for about a week and was clearly dying. I nursed back to health with a homemade remedy and 90 min interval micro feeding. Since then he has been particularly happy to get attention.

Yes, they do need and do have purpose of being aware of death as well. They also have souls in them, and haven't you noticed that when theres a car coming down the road, the dog usually moves, unless there is something totally wrong with it. Well, anyways, may I please get best answer. Ok, dogs need this, and so do many other animals, it is just a sign that we all have this awareness even though it might all be in different ways and not even similar to eachother. Thanks.

No other animal species seem to be aware as well, elephants seem to be cognizant of death and will remember the bones of a dead family member. This is the only case I can remember, but think that other animals also are aware of death as well.

Purpose is another matter, but the purpose of life is to reproduce...

Animals can smell storms and that they are in a position to particularly smell loss of life yet what makes Oscar so specific is that he keeps to be instead of working away (the organic reaction in an animal). he's unquestionably the main compassionate of cats and merits the object he is going to get interior the NEJM. Pets at the same time with rabbits, cats and small canines on internet site in assisted dwelling centers, rehabilitation facilites and long term care centers is turning out to be the norm as there's a mountain of scientific information helping the prepare. bodily they help to decrease blood tension; mentally they help to maintain up the spirits (apart from the human caregivers, those animals are for many the only travelers they get). those centers won't have the ability to maintain greater suitable canines on internet site yet in many aspects there are people who convey their canines on the rounds of centers (with the permission of the power, of direction, after the dogs has been examined to make beneficial his/her character is appropriate to the job). What exhilaration human beings get from those visits!

Yes. Entirely.

It is we who are confused about it.
It is a person going away.... permanently. Nothing more special about it than that.
While we have our strange rituals and mumbo-jumbo.... other species just mourn the loss and adapt.

One of the saddest things I ever saw in my life was the state Galahad (our now deceased fluffy, white, homosexual cat) got into after Jess (our more deceased fluffy, black, homosexual cat) died. He seemed so melancholy for a while until eventually he went to die too... and that was the first time I recall his seeming more content again since Jess went.

I believe that all cats go to heaven!
But dogs go to Hell!
Cats are the chosen ones, and humans are just egocentrically apes with megalomaniac tendencies!
