My cam is not functional and I want to buy a brand new cam. Can I use my old memory card in my new cam?

Assuming they use the same type of card, then yes. You'll probably need to initialise the card in the new camera, but that's easy to do. Memory cards are cheap now, so I wouldn't choose a new camera just because it can use the old card.

Yes you can. Be sure to format the card before using with the new camera because some cameras remember the picture # in the card and assign the next continuing number.

most cameras use SD card so it wouldnt be a problem just make sure your new camera card uses a SD card. I know Sony cameras usually use Memorty Stick Dou which wouldnt work if you bought those cameras if you have the SD card same thing vice versa. Info on your card would be helpful but just find a camera that uses the same memory card.

sure you can. I have a Kodak digital camera and use the same SD 1 GB memory card in my newer camera. Give it a try. Sure can't hurt it to try. Good luck and enjoy! :o)

As long as it's the same type of card...yes. Just be sure to reformat it in the camera you are using!
