Wait, one wedding for the same couple? Like, different ceremonies? I'd say if you can, okay, but if not as long as you attend one, you're good. I would say you wouldn't need a gift for every one. Maybe one big gift for one, or a bunch of small ones if you're attending more than one.
If you mean different weddings, different couples than you should attend as many as you are able. Despite the bridezilla factor, a couple doesn't get to decide when OTHER people's weddings are. My cousin is having theirs the weekend following ours. We won't be able to attend, but we are not upset with them for picking that day; and my family plans on attending both. Why wouldn't you?

I would say the more weddings that you attend the better chances are that if/when you get married then you'll know what you want, and don't want. Not to mention I am a firm believer the more weddings you go to you the more you can bless that union/relationship. Not to mention you would bless yourself by being there for a part of that step in your life, because you would grow with them great experiences.

I don't think that there is a limit on how many weddings one can attend in the same month.

I think you can attend as many weddings as you are invited. I do not think you can be like "sorry I can't come to your wedding this month...I've already attended one." Sounds rude.
