Dr.s should just admit Ritalin-type drugs are" legally sanctioned METH" and your kids have a HIGH chance of becoming an addict as an adult. Why are you drugging them???
FACT: Kids have the attention span of a gnat! Send them outside to play. YOU take the Ritilin!
FACT: If you let a Dr. put your child on these meds, your kid is a lab rat! Think Hitler's SS...he put them on meth, they were killing machines.
FACT: A very high percentage of kids between 17 and 27 who are drug (meth, coke, heroine) users or addicts were at one time on Ritalin, Concerta, Adderall, etc.
FACT: These drugs are way too much for kids' brains, but work quite well for adults. Our brains were fried long ago!
I guess this is where the Federal Government starts to make drug rehab free for "certain individuals". Hmmm. Lab rats=wealthy/upper-middle class white American kids, maybe?

I believe ADD or ADHD in kids is caused by sugar and food coloring in their diets. I have no proof of this. I just believe it because my oldest son was diagnosed with ADHD and the doc wanted to put him on drugs.
I said there is no way I am going to put my child on some mind altering drug.
Then out of desperation, I punished him for misbehaving by taking away all the Trix, Fruit roll ups, and the like.
3 days after doing this he was so calm and focused it was unbelievable! He stopped wetting the bed too!
I did the same thing with my youngest son and he calmed down as well.
I kept them on this diet for years until they grew up.
Just because the junk is sold as "safe" doesn't mean it is.
The docs do what the drug industry tells them to do.
Kids are the lowest on the totem pole as far as they are concerned.

FACT: ritalin in children that have not gone through puberty is actually a depressant. my brother was on ritalin and has never been to rehab. he's 49. I taught school and had kids that had to have meds to learn anything at all. some doctors prescribe meds when they really don't need to, but most do! don't use this forum to rant. get a 360 blog for that.

First off, I see no question... just a rant.
Secondly, your so-called "FACTS" are mere opinions.
Children with ADHD are not given drugs to get them high... the prescribed dosages aren't enough to get them there. The effects work reversely on kids who TRULY have ADHD. I wouldn't think responsible parents would "choose" to over-dose their kids to make them high, anyway.
Ritalin, Adderall, and Concerta are all classified as stimulants... but they're NOT meth.
Methamphetamine IS available by prescription in pill form.
It's called Desoxyn & is used to treat ADHD & obesity... did you even know?!
You should really make sure you know what you're talking about before you post opinions and call them FACTS...

and your sources for these "facts" are...?
i am not one for putting every kid on Ritalin that has attention span problems, but i do know personally some that have truly been helped by use of these medications. just like not every adult should be given anxiety/depression medication when therapy will suffice, but lots of adults that suffer from anxiety/depression do have chemical imbalances that are actually helped by the drugs.
next time, list your sources if you are going to post in this manner

FACT: I was on Ritalin for 7 years, often on a very high dose... and I never went to rehab, I function fine without it... and dont use drugs. The only effect it had on me was that it made me less hungry... which makes me think people could effectively use it to lose weight
also after reading the last statement on your senseless rant it occurs to me that your a racist moron which will automatically turn people off from anything you have to say.

i want to jerk off on your face.
I have ADD and have been taking Adderall for quite some time now. I'm not addicted and, in fact, i want to not be dependent on it. I would like to quit, but for the sake of having a normal, productive future, i need it. So shut the **** up.
