I beleave, I have faith, I dont dare doubt,

Im just wondering if anybody else thinks this way, I dont care about, peoples sexuality and actualy think its wrong to judge them for it, I beleave that god gave us choice so we could learn from our mistakes,Im not scared to kick somebody's A** if they wrong me(I do repent,,,, ALOT) or cuss them out if the speak poorly to me, I drink beer , and occasionaly have been known to take a puff-o-the green and i really have'nt found a church that I can be comefortable In because I find conflict with one person telling me what gods word means, or what that faith says the word of god is,

I got saved, (if you dont know what that means its hard to discribe but please look it up)but , I like going to catholic churches(they are so beautiful and make me feel closer for some reason) and I beleave in confession for the most part (except the our father's and hail mary's part) and I pray almost everyday,

so what does this mean ????

Good question Brother......

The one sure thing that I can tell you is to KEEP the faith above all else and keep searching for the rest. The world is full of "bad" christians is some sort or another. I have been through so many churches it would be hard to count for some of the same reasons you wrote about. Imagine going into a church and hearing the pastor say that he/she doesn't want this person in "their" church because of sexual orientation. Or maybe it's because they don't wear the proper attire or don't give enough at the collection plate. I have heard it all. I was always taught that the church was to bring in sinners and get them saved.....how do we do that if they are not allowed in? The judgment of some "christians" makes me very mad. I myself believe that if I follow Jesus by his word-----"believe in ME and you shall be saved" , that I don't have anything to worry about. He didn't say maybe, or if you do these things did he? But by following his promise, you will not be out there doing terrible things against humanity because you do believe in him. Of course, there are those out there that will kill in the name of God or Allah but I haven't heard of too many stories that said they killed in the name of Jesus. We are HUMAN and born into sin so we can't be perfect. That is why Jesus was sent. So that we can believe in him and be saved. There are some good churches out there, you just have to keep looking. Some are full of normal people just like you and me, full of faith and forever searching for the truth without all the judgment of others. I do however have a small problem with the catholic churches. I can not ask mary for forgiveness or pray to her. She is dead and buried like Joseph and James and all the rest. There is a Holy Trinity to follow....Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I do not see mary's name mentioned in my bible as being one of those. That is just my opinion so don't let that stop you from going to the catholic church if that is what you prefer. Just keep the faith you have and pray for it to get stronger. Your faith is a gift to be used. Sorry for the length but you hit on one of my main questions in life also.

Okay I am going to go out on a limb here and say -no! As a matter of fact I don't think there is such a thing as bad people just really really bad choices. God made us and I do not believe that he made some of us good and some of us bad but in giving us free will we have made some really bad choices that not only mess up our lives but those around us -ripple effect. As far as Christians having to fit into some kind of mold---absolutely not. God made us all with different personalities, gifts and abilities. I love "street" ministries. I love hanging out at the homeless shelter and the prison. But some find this intimidating. I also love preaching. My husband can't stand to speak in public- he would rather serve in the background-quietly. We are all called to be something different at different times. But as you grow in your walk and faith -- You will want to change and actually will change without even realizing that you are doing it. Being in love with Jesus makes you want to be a better person for him. Not because some pastor told you that you have to but because you want to. Where ever you are at in your walk -walk humbly with your Lord. He's got your back!!!!

We're all sinners, so you're no worse than anyone else, really. You can drink beer & still be a Christian, *lol* it's the being drunk part that the bible warns about.

Sounds like you need to pray for more patience & understanding (as far as the fighting & cussing part goes). Of course God loves us & forgives us, but He also expets us to make the effort to change.

When you find yourself confessing & repenting the same things over & over, try to really see what's causing that, and change those things. That doesn't mean you're never going to cuss again, but it does mean show that you are making the effort.

As Christians, we are supposed to set the moral example, and you don't have to go knocking door to door for people to come to Jesus, you are just supposed to live your life in a way that shows people that you are different. We are supposed to strive to be like Jesus. We will never be actually able to, because we're all sinners, and no one's perfect, but we are supposed to try. Make sense?

Find a church you feel most comfortable with, grow in Christ, pray about the things you are struggling with, and you will see a change.

A "bad" Christian is someone that believe's in Jesus solely to get forgivness or uses it as a shield to hide thier bad deeds behind. Worse, there are people who pratice using a christian religion but to not believe. So yes there is such a thing as a bad Christian. If you were looking for people to say whether you are a bad Christian, we can't we are not your judges. Love Many, Trust Few, Hurt None.

Bad....Not so. Jesus said those in your condition are lost.

Luke 15:1 Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him. And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.

And he spake this parable unto them, saying,
What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he
lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in
the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until
he find it?

And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his
shoulders, rejoicing. And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

The Bible says to "Delight in [him] and [he] will give you the desires of your heart." (Psalm 37:5?) The point of this passage is that if you study God's word and savor him, your desires will fall in line with God's desires for you. The only bad Christians are mediocre Christians, those who do nothing after being saved to build their relationship with Christ.
And you're right; it's not our place to judge others; that's God's job.
I would encourage you to find a home church, because the Bible strongly urges Christians to fellowship with one another. You don't have to accept what you're taught as fact until you have sufficiently explored it and decided for yourself.

There is no such thing as a Bad Christian. If you are not following the word of God and disobaying him then you are not Christian. People can say they are Christian but if you think about it if you are not acting like a true Christian then you are not Christian.
