Hi! I'm from Brazil. I'm study englesh, but very I'm dumb. Because I dont splic englesh verywell

" the book is on the table" is a statement but "is the book on the table is a question". It depends on how you use those sentences. For example if you wanted someone to know where the book is at you would say "the book is on the table" but if you were asking where the book is at then you would say "is the book on the table". USUALLY a sentence that is a question like that because with :who, what, when, where, is, how, etc. but if it is a statement then it would usually start with it, the, this, that, those, etc. You're not dumb either because at least you're trying to learn but just keep trying to learn because success comes from trying!

The book is on the table
This is a statement of fact, saying where the book is.

Is the book on the table?
This is a question asking where the book is.

The book is on the table is right enough and you need not add or delete or change more than that.

it depends...if you are telling someone where the book is then you would say "the book is on the table" but if you are asking where the book is then you would ask "is the book on the table?" hope this helps

when you say "The book is on the table" its a statement and when you say " Is the book on the table?" thats a question and you say "I'm very dumb" not what you said....its my pleasure

The first one is a statement, the second one is a question. Sentence one confims, sentence two is asking... hope this helps...
