Good for you.Both for converting to other religion and for not eating pork. I used to eat pork a lot but when I found out that pork is a dirty meat, I stopped eating it.Abstaining from eating pork has nothing to do with my religion- i'm a christian though.
Pour a glass of soda over a raw pork and something will come out like tiny worms.The very reason why I stopped eating pork.

You should have studied the old testament in more detail before converting. (The Qur'an refers to it frequently.) But, not to worry; there is a lot of stuff in it which nobody does any more -- which is a good thing.

Become an atheist; most christians think we will even eat another human if we get hungry enough.
After all we have no god and therefore we have no sense of write and wrong. You know if you dont belive in god you have no morals.
