when trying to uninstall anti virus ,i am told that the action cannot be taken ,probably due to missing or damaged file
any help, greatly appreciated

If it's norton go, here just be sure that once you uninstall it that you install another virus protection program.

Re-install the same virus program first...

The Uninstall it...

It cant uninstall it because the files needed for uninstall are not there...

So if you reinstall it first, then all the files will be there, and you can correctly uninstall it.

go 2 start menu click search enter the name of the anti virus programme then delete it 1 by 1...
or
go 2 start press control panel then press add or remove,,,, then press da name of the anti virus programme select remove.

Reinstall your antivirus, then uninstall it. When you reinstall it, it will replace whatever file is missing...then you can successfully uninstall it.

reinstall anti virus then remove it from add remove programs

reinstall the program then uninstall.
if it does'nt work, use an uninstaller program!
