Do you want to photograph or just do computer graphics? I'd say check into colleges and start talking with teachers and counsilors who can help you narrow (or broaden) your focus. Do you have a computer that will support the necessary programs? How about a digital camera? Do you want a basic point and zoom or a DSLR? I recommend a DSLR myself, but then, I am looking for one for myself.

first of all get yourself a programs such as photoshop and then try to look for some tutorials online, Digital art is a huge field and you didn't identify your interest if it is digital painting or illustration or so. but generally you can get a tremendous help if you check the following site : www.artworld.com
